As recommended by the GHG Protocol, Scope 2 emissions were calculated utilizing both location-based and market-based methodologies. As defined by the World Resources Institute/World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WRI/WBCSD), the location- based method is based on grid average emissions, while the market-based method reflects emissions based on energy procurement purchasing decisions.
